About the Role:

The Financial Adviser is a senior-level position responsible for formulating and implementing the financial policies of the Corporation. This includes managing the budget, overseeing loan disbursement, handling market borrowing, preparing annual accounts, and ensuring financial audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement financial policies for the Corporation.
  • Manage the budget and oversee loan disbursement to cooperatives.
  • Handle market borrowing activities for the Corporation.
  • Prepare and present annual accounts and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to cooperatives.
  • Represent the Corporation in financial matters.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (ICWA) with at least 20 years of experience in a responsible position in finance or accounts in a Government or Semi-Government organization.
    • At least 10 years of experience in a senior position is required.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and accounting standards.
    • Familiarity with modern financial management methods.
    • Experience in the finance division of a Government or Semi-Government organization is desirable.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in banking or financial institutions.

Age Limit:

50 years, relaxable as per Government of India norms.
